The Independent review of deaths and serious incidents in police custody by Dame Elish Angiolini has been published by the Home Office. Raju Bhatt was appointed as a member of the Reference Group assisting Dame Elish with the review.
The review - the first of its kind to focus on policing practices and related processes following police related deaths - offers the government a blueprint for action in the face of numerous recent concerning deaths. Look here for the review in full.
