The Supreme Court (3-2) has dismissed an appeal challenging the Secretary of State for Health’s policy of refusing to provide abortion services on the NHS in England to women from Northern Ireland forced to travel to access a lawful and safe abortion. Janet Farrell acted for Humanists UK (formerly British Humanist Association) who intervened in the case.
