Guidance on immigration detention of those with mental illness

The Court of Appeal has today provided important guidance on the Home Office’s policy for detaining those with mental illness in immigration detention.

The judgment in R(Das) v Secretary of State for the Home Department, Mind and Medical Justice intervening [2014] EWCA Civ 45 is here.
