Gross misconduct proceedings start against MPS officers in connection with Linah Keza murder

Three officers facing gross misconduct proceedings arising out of alleged failings prior to the death of Linah Keza in July 2013.

Linah was murdered by her ex-partner David Gikawa.

In the week before her death she had repeatedly sought the protection of the police as he had made threats to kill, was carrying a knife and was stalking her. Three officers are facing gross misconduct proceedings arising out of their failure to protect Linah before her death.
