The misconduct hearing of PC Dawson, who is alleged to have assaulted press photographer Anthony Devlin at a Corbyn Rally, will begin today.
PC Dawson was working as a close protection officer at a General Election campaign visit in Colwyn Bay in Wales by Jeremy Corbyn. Press photographer Anthony Devlin alleges that PC Dawson suddenly grabbed him by the clothes and neck from behind, tripped him up and violently restrained him on the ground and that other members of the press intervened to protect and release him.
