The British Humanist Association (BHA) has been granted permission by the Supreme Court to intervene in in the case of A & B v Secretary of State for Health. The case will be heard on 2 November.

The case concerns the Secretary of State’s policy not to provide NHS abortion services in England to women ordinarily resident in Northern Ireland, where abortion is only available in extremely limited circumstances.
