Anna has a background in community engagement, co-production and campaigning and has a particular interest in ensuring that the people she works with decide how they wish to pursue justice and feel supported in doing so. Anna has supported campaigners to raise funds for legal challenges; advised and trained colleagues at the British Red Cross around involving people with lived experience in service design and strategic decision-making; and organised and facilitated community engagement initiatives such as citizens’ assemblies for local authorities. At Commons, she worked with people with experience of the criminal justice system to identify what additional practical and emotional support the firm should provide to its clients. At Freedom from Torture, she supported refugees and asylum seekers to use creative writing to raise awareness of issues with the UK asylum system and advocate for change.
Anna graduated with a BA in History in 2014. She completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law in 2021 and the first Solicitors Qualifying Examination in 2023.
