She has a particular interest in bringing actions against the state for migrant women and children, which is built on her previous experience as a support and advocacy worker for these groups. She is also working more broadly on strategic challenges to the impact of the hostile environment on migrant communities.
Christina is also interested in police and state failures in protecting victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and stalking, and is developing an inquest and civil practice in this area.
Prior to pursuing law, Christina worked in Liverpool in a variety of roles including as an advisor at South Liverpool Citizens Advice and a family support worker at Refugee Women Connect.
Christina graduated with a first in English Literature in 2011 and joined Bhatt Murphy in 2020 as a paralegal before completing her training contract with the firm.
