Lauren joined Bhatt Murphy in 2023 as a trainee solicitor.
Prior to working at Bhatt Murphy, Lauren completed paralegal roles at two London firms where she worked on a range of private and public law claims. The cases she worked on included actions against the police arising from the wrongful detention, arrest and/or prosecution of clients; discrimination claims against public bodies on the grounds of race; Data Protection Act issues and breaches of the Human Rights Act, including failures to investigate.
Lauren graduated from the University of Exeter with a LLB in Law. She then completed her LLM in International Development Law and Human Rights at the University of Warwick, achieving a Distinction. Lauren has also completed her LLM in Professional Legal Practice, achieving a Distinction.
