Leila is a Paralegal in our Covid-19 Public Inquiry Team

Leila graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA in Philosophy and has a Human Rights MA from University College London. Her master’s dissertation analysed the realisation of reproductive justice within the framework of the international human rights regime. She attained a distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2022 is currently studying for the Solicitors Qualifying Exam.

Prior to moving into law, Leila spent several years in the third sector working in international development and social justice organisations with a particular focus on supporting those experiencing structural oppression. Following completion of the Graduate Diploma in Law, she worked as a Paralegal at Disability Law Service, providing advice and representation under legal aid to Disabled people and their carers on community care matters. Leila joined Bhatt Murphy in 2023 and is representing Disabled People’s Organisations on the Covid-19 Public Inquiry.
