Michela joined Bhatt Murphy in September 2017 as a paralegal in the Actions Against the Police team. She is now a trainee solicitor and is assisting with cases covering a range of causes of action, including assault, negligence and breaches of the Human Rights Act, and several large-scale cases relating to the treatment of children in custody. Before coming to Bhatt Murphy, Michela worked for an international development organisation and completed an internship in the immigration department of another law firm. While completing the Graduate Diploma in Law, she volunteered for the School Exclusion Project, representing children and their families at exclusion hearings.
