Prior to joining Bhatt Murphy, Tabitha worked as an Assessment and Reconnection Worker for St. Mungo’s, where she supported rough sleepers with ending their homelessness. She worked with clients with a range of support needs, including those with significant mental health issues and substance misuse issues.

Tabitha has worked as a research assistant for Unredacted, a research unit that investigates secretive UK national security practices. She was responsible for supporting research on a number of projects, including British complicity in torture and rendition following 9/11.

Tabitha graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2021 with a BA in history and politics. After her work in the third sector she returned to studying, graduating with an MA in Law in 2025. Her masters dissertation critically investigated the UK’s asylum policy relating to Afghanistan following the Taliban takeover in 2021.
