A BBC investigation into Greater Manchester Police’s Firearms Officers: ‘A unit in turmoil’ is broadcast today. This includes scrutiny of the fatal police shooting of Anthony Grainger in 2012 who was unarmed.
Bhatt Murphy, who acts for Anthony’s partner Gail Hadfield-Grainger, said as follows:
” It is clearly important that any new evidence uncovered by the BBC is considered by the Anthony Grainger Inquiry as a matter of priority in order to ensure that justice is done.”
