The ongoing public inquiry into the fatal police shooting of Anthony Grainger has heard that an Assistant Chief Constable within Greater Manchester Police completed the intelligence section of a purportedly contemporaneous log regarding an deployment of armed officers on 1 March after Mr Grainger’s shooting on 3 March. The Home Secretary has finally agreed to hold a public inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the fatal police shooting of Anthony Grainger.
