Hearings in the Lampard Inquiry are scheduled to take place from Monday 28 April to 15 May 2025.
The Inquiry is investigating the deaths of over two thousand people who died whilst an inpatient under the care of Essex mental health services between 2000 and 2023. This is the first public inquiry into mental health services that has ever been held in England and established by a Minister.
National charity INQUEST has been granted core participant status in the Inquiry as a result of its expertise on deaths in mental health services and its involvement with Essex families and nationally.
INQUEST is represented by Charlotte Haworth Hird and Amy Ooi at Bhatt Murphy, together with Lily Lewis and Anna Morris KC of Garden Court North Chambers.
